Day 1 : Arrival Makassar
Morning Arrival at Hasanuddin International Airport, meeting service
by our guide, then directly by bus to Torajaland, passing through
the Buginese area (one of the big ethnic in South Sulawesi) with
their distinctive stilt houses through the natural, magnificent
scenery. Lunch at local restaurant in Pare Pare. After lunch proceed
to Torajaland passing the erotica mountain before reaching magnificent
Torajaland…. the land for the king,…check in hotel (L)
Day 2 : Fullday Torajaland Tour
After breakfast, starting exploring the unique culture, fascinating
villages of Torajaland with their specific Tongkonan houses which
shape like a ship with a bow and stern and could be found in every
villages. First visit LEMO, the grave yard on the cliff, SUAYA,
an old royal stone graves of the seventh king of Sanggala. SANGGALA,
the tree graves for the dead babies. Lunch at local restaurant,
After lunch visit SADDAN, the center of the weaving mills of Toraja.
PALAWA, the oldest village of Toraja. Afternoon back to hotel (B,L,D)
Day 3 : Fullday Torajaland Tour
After breakfast, fullday tour visiting BORI, the stones showing
the existence of the funeral site of the clan. BATUTUMONGA, stone
graves at mountain area…. passing fascinating scenery of mount Batutumonga…..
Lunch en route…. After lunch…visit LONDA, an ancient natural graves
and puppets on the balcony which representing the death. KETEKESU,
Traditional Toraja Village. On the way to the hotel….visit the daily
local market. (B,L)
Day 4 : Torajaland – Makassar airport
After breakfast at hotel, leaving Torajaland for Makassar Airport,
stop for lunch in Pare Pare. Afternoon arrive at the airport for
the next destination (B,L)
